International

We have developed a number of international links over the years. We have a longstanding partnership with Namowojjolo Primary School in Mykono, Uganda – this is part of the wider Guildford Mukono link.

We have had two past Comenius projects and are currently embarking on our third which is called ‘Travel broadens the mind.  Let’s travel together!’  We are sure that our new partnerships will be as fruitful as our previous collaborations and that joint curriculum work and teacher/pupil visits will be an important part of widening children’s horizons, developing curiosity and promoting cross-cultural cooperation and understanding.

Richard and Helen had an initial project meeting at the beginning of October in Poland where we met the headteachers and project coordinators from each school.  The partners are visiting Guildford in December and will be spending 3 days at HTPD
