School really does mean community for Richard and his community certainly is growing as he takes Pewley Down under his wing. An advocate of cutting edge education he is constantly seeking new challenges and directions for the school, both with the physical building and with the curriculum. He's often to be seen whizzing up and down the hill in his Mini and wears a different pair of cowboy boots each week!

Nicola is one of our Deputy Heads and is based at the Pewley Down site. She is the Foundation Stage Leader and is passionate about children's first steps into learning.

Helen Pronger

Helen provides liaison between the two schools spending time in each over the week in her role as Deputy Head. Ever since university, Helen has enjoyed back-packing her way around the world and brings her experience of developing International links to Pewley. Helen leads the way as Assessment co-ordinator and openly confesses to her love of data.

Debbie Chadwick

Debbie looks after special needs of all sorts at HTPD and coordinates our provision of extension and support throughout the school. Apart  from the boss - Debbie is the longest serving teacher having joined the staff in 1992. Like many other members of staff she lives very close to the school which is useful on a snowy day! As Deputy Head she keeps her finger on the pulse and helps to keep us all on track.

Emily like Tracey, Alison and Sarah also has been associated with HTPD by having children in the schools. She previously worked at Guildford Childrens Centre and Wonersh and Shamley Green Infant School. Emily takes responsibility for RE and DT.

Sian is a Guildford girl born and bred. She trained in Wales and loves all things arty– another creative soul for HTPD!

Sarah Mackenzie

Sarah is another very long standing member of the staff. Living close to the school she had no trouble in turning up even on the snowiest of days. Sarah is in charge of Healthy Schools, English and our Eco-warrior.

Rosie Welch

Lights, camera, action! Rosie’s enthusiasm and creativity with drama means that as she is also called upon to give us inspiration for our many HTPD productions. Rosie is also a great outdoors girl and actually volunteers to ‘carry on camping’!

Ginnie Gregory

Ginnie started off volunteering at HT, then moved to 1day, then 2 days and now she is a full time teacher. Ginnie has brought with her a wealth of experience having taught in a variety of schools in London. She is super friendly with a great sense of humour - get used to being called ‘honey’ (and a variety of other terms of endearment) though!

Creative and artistic Maggie wows us with her eye for display and colour. She has a passion for dance and her choreography skills are much admired by all.

Gillian Trumble

Softly spoken Gillian is a Celt with a difference and she adds a touch of calm to our busy HTPD lives. Gillian studied Old English and has the unusual gift of being able to read and write in our ancient language!

Sheila Manson

Sheila is enjoying her 4th year at HTPD. She has a passion for singing and loves running Drama Club each week. Sheila supports EAL within the school, is a Geography specialist and is part of the 'Place and Time Team'!

Tracey Dowse

Originally from South Africa, Tracey is currently a Year 4 teacher, HTPD Maths co-ordinator, mother of 3 and the guitar-playing kayak club leader! With roots in Social Work, Psychology and Nursery Education Tracey hopes to teach the "whole" child wherever possible.

Alison worked at Pewley Down for over 16 years and as a local resident is highly committed to all the young people in the area. She has a great enthusiasm for the outdoors and has recently designed the newly constructed Year 2 outdoor area complete with Anderson shelter. Alison also takes control of outdoor learning, display and the beautiful “Wild Place” situated on Pewley Downs and the Gardening Club.

Nick currently teaches in Year 4 after a year in Year 6. He loves getting involved with HTPD life and has worked hard on creating the schools outdoor education curriculum along with Henry. Nick is football mad and enjoys coaching the school teams and is often taking Holy Trinity teams to other schools.

Mary Booth

Mary is our very own Sporty Spice and it’s not uncommon to find her on our astro turf pitch coaching children in her ‘free’ time! Actually, she is something of an expert hockey coach, having worked with Under 21 teams at national level. When we can persuade her to come inside, she enjoys keeping our figures in shape! Mary is our Maths Coordinator and number crunching is her thing.

A diver and gymnast herself Rebecca has got us all thinking fit and leads us in lots of sports. Rebecca runs a Gym Club and is one of our Mandela House Leader. She is certainly gifted and talented herself!

Henry has joined us last year as an NQT he entertains us with his dramatic performances in assembly and is the star of star jumping! He ably assists Clare with Science, runs football club for Year 6 and can often be heard strumming his guitar in his class at the end of the day.

Dr. Clare joins us from the world of Science – for many years she was a medical researcher. Another accomplished musician, Clare regularly plays the flute in assembly and is a fountain of knowledge about most things!

Sarah completed the Graduate Training Programme at HTPD and has taught a range of ages from EYFS to KS2. She loves reading, creative writing and language and is looking forward to assisting Rosie with Literacy.

Judy Dickinson

Judy heads up the music – orchestra, recorders, choir and of course, curriculum music. She is a fabulous musician herself and enjoys playing her recently acquired baby grand - apart from when she is sailing off somewhere into the sunset, her other great passion! She leads the Creative Arts PPA team.

Rachel Downey

Terri is another member of the Creative Arts PPA team and is herself a very talented artist. She enthuses the children with her wonderful ideas and definitely doesn’t mind getting messy; she can often be found up to her arms in plaster or clay, helping children create awe-inspiring sculptures!

Gillian teaches games to all the children and runs a whole variety of sports clubs before, during and after school.

Lynn Edge

Lynn is responsible for heading up the upper school special needs team. She works with small groups and with individuals. Lynn is full of enthusiasm and fun and a great singer too!

Hayley works in the Star Room and in classrooms working with and supporting children with literacy. Hayley worked as a qualified teacher in South Africa.

Julia is an outstanding sports, games and PE teacher who brings all PD children up to a very high level of personal skill. She also works as a TA in Chestnut Class.

Geraldine is our wonderful librarian who is a wealth of information about all thinks literary and so much more! Her enthusiasm spills over to us all. She goes beyond the realms of librarian offering us some great opportunies and clubs.

Naomi worked for many years at Holy Trinity, she now provides cover in year 1 and 2 as well as occasional supply cover.

Sarah Jackson

Sarah is an HLTA in Year 3 in the mornings. She also specialises in Drama and Dance which she teaches the children in the afternoons. As an HLTA she is often called upon to cover.
