HTSC Raising Money for Our Children at School
HTSC is Holy Trinity's PTA. It involves everyone in the school community - children, parents, carers, staff and governors. It helps raise vital funds for school equipment by organizing social events for people of all ages. It is also responsible for the provision of school uniform.
The staff at Holy Trinity are extremely supportive and very involved with HTSC. They run educational evenings, always support the social events and have also produced murder mystery plays for fund-raising evenings. Everyone works together to look at ways projects can be funded and where prioritising is needed.
The HTSC meet monthly in the school staff room. We welcome any new members, and any new ideas. Look out for our weekly news in the school newsletter.
The money HTSC have raised has paid for numerous projects and items around the school from funding whiteboards and training, to buying a portable PA system for outdoor events like sports day and a new school activity trail and climbing walls, as well as the smaller things like ice lollies for school sports day.
Fund-raisers that run throughout the school year are the sale of school uniform, second hand school uniform and the Sainsbury voucher scheme (please click here to download the form) . Please support these as much as you can.
We always love to see new faces and hear new ideas, as we know there are new parents coming in who were involved in their previous schools PTA . It’s also a great way to find out about the school and how it works.
Funds Spent
The majority of funds raised through your generous support to HTSC events, has been spent or is in the process of being allocated, to projects to help our children enjoy their time at school even more! These include:
- lots of new books for the library,
- the raised gardens,
- the active zone (see pictures below)
- maths resources
- photo displays (School photos on the wall in Year 3)

The next HTSC meeting will be Tuesday 10th January at 8pm in the staff room, do come along and join us.
