Infant - Lunch Information

Children may have a hot school meal or bring their own packed lunch. The school meal comprises main course and dessert. We ask that you give at least 2 weeks’ notice in writing if you wish to change from school meals to sandwiches or vice versa.

School lunches currently cost £2.10 per day. The school operates a lunch card system whereby you can put credit on your child’s card to the value of £10.50, £21, £42 or £84. You will receive a reminder when more credit needs to be put on. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Pewley Down Infant School’’.

If your child has a packed lunch please drop these off on your way to class on the shelf in the hall. Please note we are a nut free school.

Children with any food allergies wear a special badge at lunch times to ensure all staff are aware of any intolerance. Please ensure that any allergies have been noted on the information you have sent into school.

Children are provided with a fruit snack at breaktime and should bring in a water bottle everyday.

Junior - Lunch Information

Lunch cards are available from the Kitchen (access via the hall) between 0830 and 0845. They cost £21 for 10 days, £42 for 20 days, 40 days is £84 or £10.50 for 5 days (£2.10 daily). Please make cheques payable to Holy Trinity School and write your childs name and class on the reverse. Your child will be reminded when they need a new lunch card.

The children need to bring in a healthy snack for break time and a bottle of water everyday.

If your child has a packed lunch, these are kept in the classroom.

Free School Meals

Free school meals are available for any child whose parent/guardian is in receipt of Income Support, Income Based Job Seeker’s Allowance or, in certain circumstances, Child Tax Credit. If you think your child is eligible please ask the office staff, in confidence, for an application form.
