HTPD 19/12/18

19 December 2018

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a fantastic term it’s been! Thank you so much to the children especially for working so hard, for joining in with school life so enthusiastically and for living out our values every day. I do want to pass on my thanks to all of you as well for your support, encouragement and partnership. Thank you too for your generous gifts to all the staff – I know that they are really grateful - and for your wonderful contributions to the Besom hampers. I’ve just heard that all the hampers were delivered yesterday! It’s been so good to bring so much joy to others this Christmas!

We’ve enjoyed celebrating Christmas together over these last few days; the service at St. Mary’s for the infants was delightful with a retelling of the Nativity by Beech class. The infants also enjoyed the chance to share the fun of the panto. At the juniors, the carol service at Holy Trinity Church allowed us time to reflect on the joy of Christmas as we thought about God’s Son, the Word of God born in a manger. And today, our end of term quiz was hilarious!

Have a restful and peaceful Christmas. See you in the New Year! Remember we start back on Thursday 3rd January.

With best wishes,

Thought of the week: Born in us! What does Christmas mean to you?
