10 October 2014

Fluffy Friday, 17 October
Next Friday is the first Fluffy of the year and children may wear mufti (home clothes) to school. Please also remember to send your child in with their £1 donation to cover costs.

Harvest Festival

Thank you for your wonderful generosity with harvest parcels. The children were astonished by the variety of different food and we looked at where it all came from. The No 5 Project for the homeless in Guildford will no doubt be delighted to receive your donations, so thank you again.

House Poetry
We had a fantastic time in our house poetry festival on Thursday. How wonderful to see so many children reciting and reading their own poems. Perhaps carry on enjoying poetry together this weekend.

Please ensure that you park safely and considerately around school and do not obstruct our neighbours’ drives or park on the yellow zig-zags outside school. Also, in case you are not aware, we do try and operate an unofficial one-way system (down Semaphore Road from Pewley Hill to Pewley Way) to try and ease congestion at drop-off and pick-up times.
